When asked to describe the feel of their wedding day, Bonnie and Abby chose three words: fun, festive, and joyful — and that energy carried through every moment.

They wanted a thoughtful balance of classic portraits and candid images that captured the spirit of the day as it unfolded. Rather than rushing from one thing to the next, they allowed space for real moments — laughter, connection, and movement — which made the day feel natural and unforced.

To begin the day, Bonnie and Abby gathered at Trinity Presbyterian Church, where they shared a meaningful first look before the ceremony.

The church offered a timeless, light-filled setting that grounded the day in tradition while still feeling personal and warm. Surrounded by family and friends, the ceremony was emotional, joyful, and full of anticipation — a beautiful beginning to the celebration ahead.

Holiday Reception at Piedmont Driving Club

Following the ceremony, guests gathered at the Piedmont Driving Club for a lively holiday reception in the heart of Atlanta.

With nearly 275 guests, the ballroom was buzzing from the moment doors opened. Soft Christmas lights, festive décor, and a cozy winter atmosphere created an elegant yet welcoming space that invited guests straight to the dance floor.

Some of the most memorable moments from the reception included:

  • A wide view of the ballroom glowing with holiday lights

  • Candid party photos on a packed dance floor

  • A classic getaway car exit to close out the night

The celebration stayed energetic well into the evening thanks to Ritz Party Band, who kept guests dancing and the momentum high all night long.
